Mein erstes "Dummies Buch" gleich ein Hit, 10. Juli 2007

Das Buch ist genau das was es verspricht. Eine Lektüre für MAC Dummies und Eisteiger. Sehr hilfreich!
Absolut zu empfehlen für alle Neuankömmlinge in der Apfelwelt.

Für mich, als Windowsuser und Umsteiger auf Mac war dieses Buch das hilfreichste auf dem Markt. In sehr unterhaltsamer und einfacher Weise werden hier die grundlegensten Unterschiede und Kenntnisse vermittelt. Ich nehme das Buch auch immer wieder gerne zur Hand wenn ich mal Schwierigkeiten habe

I couldn't wait until I got this book. Following Pogue from OS X.1 to OS X.3 he guided me (a Windows switcher) through my way with the Mac OS System. The book is still easy and amusing to read, helps the beginnig to intermediate Mac-user to get a frim grasp of the system, shows shortcuts and hidden features (and how to unlock them! - for example the calculator) and is still in my opinion the only book a user needs. It even gives you a starting point to discover the "terminal" and the underlying Unix-subsystem. But, as I said with the X.1 edition, if you are a unix-freak and want to go deeper, get another book. Still, Pogues "Missing Manual for OS X" is IMHO the best and easiest way to get into the Mac - System.
