One of the best Fowl books in the series, 12. Oktober 2006

I was laughing out loud reading this latest installment of the Artemis Fowl series. My favourite character, Mulch Diggums, is now an enforcer of the Chicago Mafia and working as a muscleman for Jon Spiro, the slightly lunatic and unhinged businessman that has ripped off Artemis Fowl by stealing his C Cube computer (made by fairy technology) and ordering Butler to be shot.With Butler out of the picture with gunshot wounds, Juliet Butler (Butler's sister) enters the scene as Fowl's bodyguard (cue Kill Bill music and Uma Thurman with her sword!!). Artemis vows revenge on Spiro for stealing the C Cube and for having Butler shot. Since the C Cube is essentially fairy technology, Fowl manages to persuade Root, Short and Foaly that they need to help him get the C Cube back. But Root has a price - after it's all over, everyone needs to agree to be mind-wiped.This book has to be Mulch Diggum's crowning moment of glory. Sit back and prepare for lots of laughs.

The third book in the series of "Artemis Fowl" begins with a "normal" business meeting. Artemis meets a american industrial with the name John Spiro and plan to show him a supercomputer, which he constructed with fairy technology. With Butler at his side, what could possibly go wrong....?Nearly everything!Artemis is being tricked for the first time and pays a high price for that.

With the supercomputer in the hands of Spiro, the whole Fairy community is in danger. Will the team of Fairy Folk and Mud People regain the computer from Spiro?If they will, Artemis will be mind wiped to remove all memories of "The People". Is there any chance for the young genius to hoodwink the fairies again?

An absolutely suberb book. In my opinion the best book of the first three. It makes one hunger for the next adventure of Artemis and his friends.

Angefangen hat es bei mir zugegeben mit recht jungen 15 jahren bei einem Englandaustausch, wo ich mir das erste buch gekauft habe. Allerdings las ich das erste buch in kürzester Zeit, auf das 2. musste ich also etwas warten.(aber egal) das vorliegende Buch geht noch tiefer in die welt von artemis fowl ein, wer also die ersten beiden mochte wird dieses genauso lieben. (zum titel) ich bin mittlerweile über 18 und werde diese reihe weiter verfolgen. ;)
