I have always been a big fan of the Alex Cross Novels, 22. November 2007

I just finished reading this book and I have to say it was great! Definately a thriller, alot of twists and turns like most of his Alex Cross books. I had previously read You've Been Warned which is the first James Patterson book I honestly did not like at all. This book made me feel like he was writing the way he used too, which I think is his best formula. However, the ending was ok... Overall, a great book though!!! I would recommend it to anyone who likes thrillers!! I would also recommend, if you missed reading TIN0 GEORGIOU'S masterpiece--THE FATES, go and read it. With fascinating and brilliantly created characters in `THE FATES' coupled with two intertwining plots makes for a completely enjoyable and page-turning read.

It is kind of hard to review "Double Cross". If I hadn't read the previous twelve books in the Alex-Cross-series, I'd say that it is a well-written & fast-paced thriller and worth the read.Having read the previous Alex-Cross-novels though, I tend to say that "Double Cross" is just average, because it is a lot of the same old and therefore quite predictable to longtime readers of this series. Reading "Double Cross" felt a lot like "been there, done that...". Alex Cross has been chasing serial killers and so-called masterminds too often it seems :-(.Result: "Double Cross" is an okay read, but I'd still recommend waiting for the paperback.

Nachdem in der Alex Cross Reihe doch die letzten Bände ein wenig schwächeln, und die unzähligen verschiedenen Frauengeschichten ein bisschen unglaubwürdig erschienen, liefert James Patterson diesmal wieder eine unglaublich spannende Geschichte.Habe den Roman in 2 Tagen ausgelesen!Ich will nicht zuviel verraten, aber der Schluss verspricht eine spannende "Fortssetzung" derAlex Cross Reihe.
