To go back in time..., 14. Dezember 2005
This is the fourth Noel Streatfeild-Novel for children I bought. And as a dutiful gran I read all of them first before giving them away and this is by far the most enchanting! Already the start - why these three orphans call themselves "FOSSIL" is hilarious and nudged me to read on and throughout it is witty, wise and friendly, a real good book for my girls! And as they love me reading to them and as English and the British Way of Life is foreign to us, this - as all the Shoe-Books - is a wonderful experience! Just lovely if you hold a child or two in the crook of your arm and read and talk it over...

I think this book was okay. I think it should have been more interesting and exciting. I recommend this book to people that like ballet

I think that this book could have been a little more exciting. But, some parts were really good. I think that this book was an okay book, but not my favorite.
I thought the use of vocabulary was effective and enjoyable., 16. November 1999
I am a boy and thus from a boy's perspective shall judge this book. In short I thought it was superb. I loved the characters and thought the bringing together of the characters was very well done. The book truely lead me on a journey of thought and passion which I have not experienced in any other book. Although I have no wish to go in to ballet when I am older it was a real pleasure to speculate on the reactions each of the girls took. I can see why some of the children I teach are so attracted to this book and hope the author continues her fab works
One of the very best; delightful., 19. September 1999
A charming evocation of three talented sisters in 1930s London that introduces you to the "World" of Noel Streatfeild, carried on through her Shoes series which ought to be reprinted. Delightful characters, a charming British feel, exceptionally well written.
