Dieses Buch bietet einen hervorragenden Überblick über das Corporate Finance Geschäft. Es wird u.a. auch in der MBA Ausbildung an verschiedenen Hochschulen verwendet (z.B. FH Furtwangen). Auch wenn es natürlich komplett in Englisch ist, ist das Buch sehr gut zu verstehen und führt Schritt für Schritt in die komlexe Materie ein. Klasse ist auch die mitgelieferte CD, auf der zahlreiche Übungen zu finden sind. Diese kann man als Test durchführen wobei alle Antworten, auch die falschen erklärt werden! Absolut empfehlenswert!

The book is very suitable for students who wants to have a basic and firm understanding of what corporate finance is about and how it works. It has case studies that helps us to understand the application of the concepts or theories.

This book was course literature at university. Great Book! It focuses on setting out the basic principles of financial management and applying them to the main decisions faced by the financial manager.

I and my friends(with no business background) are studying corporate finance by ourselves using this book and all of us are very satisfied with the book so far.

The concepts are explained very clearly(even kindly) and sample tests with complete solutions are very useful. The book also has solutions for selected end-of-the chapter problems and I enjoy mini cases which help me apply the concepts to the practice in detail.

I had tried other finance books before and most of them were not clear in explaining concepts and a bit difficult for me(my major was chemistry). I think that this book is probably the easiest and the best book to begin with for starters in finance.

This book is excelent for understanding finance from scratch. I read the spanish translation of this book. It is not a book "for dummies". It teaches each concept at a time in a clear way.
